  AP Shutters does not stand behind their product ! We had new shutters installed November 2017 , there was a issue during the install on a control arm. Issue has resurfaced 2 months later, we have called and e-mailed them through their website and to Mike Cheney's e-mail with no response at all. No call back no e-mail response. He claims his competitor is a crook , but maybe the crook would at least return your call!
  
  AP Shutters did contact us and proceeded to repair our shutters. The shutters are of good quality.

  I have to say that the most recent review sounds very suspicious as some of the language sounds a lot like what the owner had to say during his visit to my home.
  
  He was pretty adamant about bashing his competitor stating that they employed immigrants and not Americans. He decided to take it a step further by telling us that his competition had a criminal arrest records and dirty money. I would prefer that he let me make my own decision without him trying to influence my with a scare tactic.
  Even if what he is stating is true, it is a poor marketing decision to bad mouth your competition. Your product and competitive prices should speak for themselves. This competition is obviously an issue or he wouldn't have taken the measure to DOCUMENT their wrong doings on his proposal. Who does that? Shame on you for feeling the need to put it on paper.
  
  Last I checked this is America a country built by immigrants. No matter how many generations of Americans you have in your family we all came from somewhere. Hire who you want, but to shame others for making a decision you disagree with is in poor taste.
